The Caledonia Housing Association Group has published its Annual Assurance Statement for 2025.
Producing an Annual Assurance Statement is a key regulatory requirement for all Scottish social landlords. The Group views this as an opportunity to reaffirm its commitment to being well-managed, financially strong, and focused on delivering good outcomes for tenants and customers. The Statement has been prepared in line with the Scottish Housing Regulator’s guidance.
The Statement confirms that the Group, and both Caledonia and Cordale individually, are compliant with all relevant regulatory requirements, including:
The Regulatory Standards of Governance and Financial Management
The Scottish Social Housing Charter standards and outcomes
All relevant legislative duties
The 2025 Statement also highlights the Group’s approach to managing key risks relating to tenant and resident safety, and its continued compliance with associated obligations. It further acknowledges the Group’s commitment to continuous improvement and the value placed on tenant feedback and insight.
The Management Board of Caledonia and the Management Committee of Cordale reached their conclusions following a detailed review of a wide range of evidence and information, with specific scrutiny of performance in areas such as tenant and resident safety, stock investment and service delivery, cyber security, and customer engagement.
The Statement has been signed by Caledonia’s Chair on behalf of the Group and submitted to the Scottish Housing Regulator. It is now available for tenants and other service users to read below.
