The Weekindo Drama Group was established to give kids in a deprived area access to the arts - but it has achieved much more.  The group, which meets in the Carman Centre, has installed confidence in its young members, improved their reading skills and created friendships between pupils from the village's two primary schools.

The group, which is funded by Cordale Housing Association, meets on a Wednesday night for eight to 12 years olds.
