As a landlord, Cordale Housing Association recognises the link between providing an inclusive, efficient and cost effective maintenance service and overall customer satisfaction, with the service provision of the organisation. The information outlined in this section of the website outlines the broad principles that will be used by Cordale Housing Association in the completion of reactive repairs, cyclical and planned maintenance, medical adaptations and void repairs.
In producing the Association’s Repairs & Maintenance policy, the Association asked tenants to participate in the review of the policy and sought the views of other organisations. This ensured that a broad consensus was achieved about the quality, reporting and monitoring of the repairs service.
The Association places great emphasis on maximising local economic and labour market opportunities. Where appropriate, local contractors will be given priority to undertake reactive and cyclical maintenance works.
