Fire Safety

If a fire does break out in your home you should:

  • Close the door of the room where the fire is.
  • Get everyone out of the house.
  • Call the fire service on 999.

You should take time now to think about your escape route and make sure that everyone who lives with your knows what to do.

In order to prevent fire, please read the following advice.

 

Smoke Alarms

Smoke Alarm

We have fitted a smoke alarm in your home.  It will alert you if a fire breaks out.

You should never:

  • Try to disconnect your alarm
  • Remove it
  • Paint over it

You are responsible for making sure that your smoke alarm is in constant working order.  It is your responsibility to replace batteries in your smoke alarm.  You must inform us if the smoke alarm in not in constant working order.  You are strongly advised to carry out regular test of the smoke alarm for your own safety.
