Why does my rent account show an arrears balance when I am on full Housing Benefit?

If you are in receipt of housing benefit and your account is showing a debit balance, there may be additional housing benefit to be paid into your account, which may clear the balance outstanding.  Contact the office if you are unsure.  Sometimes the housing benefit department deduct overpayments from benefit you are paid and therefore full rent is not paid to the Association.  If you are in doubt, please contact Yvonne Reilly, Housing Services Officer at the office on 01389 721216 or by emailing YvonneReilly@cordalehousing.org.uk.

There is a credit on my rent account, what does this mean?

If your rent account has a credit balance you can contac the office to see if you are due a refund.  Contact Yvonne Reilly, Housing Services Officer at the office on 01389 721216 or by emailing YvonneReilly@cordalehousing.org.uk to see if you are due a refund.
